Welcome to the brand new Essence of Healing Blog! Let's get to know each other....

One of my favorite aspects of having my own Massage Therapy practice is the opportunity to connect with my clients on a personal level. Building therapeutic relationships is rewarding for both the client and the practitioner. 

With each appointment I learn about your unique strengths and challenges. I see where you need help and I use my trained touch to help you achieve your goals. As you receive each session, you gain valuable insights about tender areas, where stress is held, where you have restrictions of motion, and how your life outside of the massage room is connected to all of these aspects of yourself. 

I want this blog to be a continuation of the therapeutic relationship I have with my clients and to expand that relationship with a wider audience. By sharing information, experiences, and insights gained in and out of the treatment room, I hope to help you get to know yourself a little bit better.

If you're my client, you'll find this blog to be a continuation of many post-massage discussions we've had, as well as a place to keep up with practice updates and announcements.

I hope that readers not on my client list will discover something of interest as I cover a range of topics including self care, explanation of massage modalities and techniques, frequently asked questions, massage room etiquette, and things your therapist wishes you knew.
